Hello everyone…I am sorry for the late notice on the details for next Friday’s (July 25th) trip into Manhattan to join up with Stand True (You can find out more about their ministry at www.standtrue.com).  We will be meeting at the church at 7am that Friday to catch the LIRR into Penn Station.  We will then meet up with Stand True and join them in their prayer walk between a few different abortion mills in the city.  This will be a great witness and experience for every member of the youth group.  I would strongly encourage everyone that is able to join us in this event.  I am waiting to find out the exact end time, but as soon as I find out I will pass the information on.  The cost for this will be $25 plus money for lunch/snacks in the city.  We will definitely return before dinner.  Please feel free to email me with any questions.

This summer we are going to have a Guys Basketball night, every Tuesday at Birch Elementary school in Merrick.  We will start @ 7pm and pickup time will be 9pm.  If you are interested and need directions contact Alan via email (alan@intercessorchurch.org).

Congrats to Elizabeth LeGrand for winning the CEC for Life contest.  Elizabeth won half of her trip being paid for to the International Convocation in Orlando, FL this summer.

Hey guys and gals…if you signed up for paintball, here are the details:

Saturday, June 14th

Meet at the church at 8am or meet at the field at 8:45

Bring money for lunch and if you wish to purchase gear or extra paint at the field

We will leave when everyone is out of paint and give parents a call when leaving Coram (this will be around 3:30-4) which will give everyone about a 45 minutes heads up.

If you are under 18 YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PARENTS SIGN THIS FORM OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY: WAIVER

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11TH IS THE LAST NIGHT OF YOUTH GROUP.  WE WILL BE HAVING A PARTY FROM 7-10PM.  BE THERE OR BE SQUARE (I KNOW THAT’S CHEESY).

It’s that time of year again to shoot each other.  We are going to have our Annual Youth vs. Adult Paintball Tournament.  It’s going to be on Saturday, June 14th at High Velocity Paintball.  The cost is going to be $60 which includes your rental, 500 paintballs, admission, and CO2 refills all day.  Sign-up by June 4th so we can get an accurate count for the day.

Also don’t forget that the youth have won some battles but has lost every war against the Adults!
